200 years ago, an innkeeper's dog saves a woman from being bitten by a bat which is, in fact, the vampire Dracula in disguise. Angry at losing his meal, Dracula bites the woman's saviour and turns Zoltan into a vampire.
Released from his subterranean crypt by an accident in the present day, after much mayhem, Zoltan is eventually killed, but a vampire puppy escapes destruction.
